Check out my BLOGS. Why am I leaping off into blogosphere? My blog is a way to put a face and a voice to what would otherwise be a cold and impersonal website. This is an exciting new forum for me and it gets me away from my stack of papers and notebooks!
Why blog?
For one, almost everyone these days has something to say, yet many people don’t have a place to express themselves and to share. My blogs will help my readers stay on top of events and happenings related to kids and toy safety, pets, vacation places, writing… and many other subjects.
Drawing from a wealth of life experiences, as a creator, designer, patent holder, entrepreneur, writer, businesswomen, saleswomen, mom, friend…I will deliver energizing and entertaining advice and posts.
And two, for some reason, getting published these days has gone from, Pulitzer Literacy winners need only apply, to how many followers do you have? Huh? It’s true. Ask any aspiring author. Ask an agent. From the publishers to the agents they all want to know what your platform is BEFORE your book is published. Who knew?
But when I think about it, these posts are not about me telling you how much I know- who cares about that! This is about engaging my future readers. To help you to learn my voice and to see if we connect and to show I care what you like and don’t like. With today’s technology, a writer can network, get to know readers and build a trustful relationship fast BEFORE they’re published. Makes sense.
I want this to be a forum where my readers and friends have a vehicle for two-way communications through my posts and your comments. I will learn from this blog to listen and love. It’s more fun and much more productive than just pushing my books!
